In response to the rise of account-renting services that can help bypass such limits, Tencent Games has upgraded its facial recognition Bomb Lock system with a new risk account database to target accounts suspected of being rented. Flagged account users must verify their identity within three minutes on the relevant device, or face account restrictions.
